Caribbean Cayman Islands

These peaceful British islands are nestled in the calm, turquoise waters of the western Caribbean. | | | |
Cayman Islands Caribbean VacationsThis trio of islands is set near the southern coast of Cuba. It's a prosperous, tiny nation dependent on Britain for its economic survival and attracting millionaire expatriates from all over the world by means of some very lenient tax and banking laws. The warm, crystal-clear waters and the colorful marine life in the offshore reefs surrounding the island attract scuba divers and snorkelers. Many hotels line the luscious sands of Seven Mile Beach.
Grand Cayman The largest of the three islands and a real diving mecca, Grand Cayman has become one of the hottest tourist destinations in the Caribbean in recent years. With more than 500 banks, its capital, George Town, is the offshore banking center of the Caribbean (no problems finding an ATM here!). Almost all the Cayman Islands' population of 32,000 live on Grand Cayman.
