Shilin Night Market: Taipei is known for its street-food scene and night markets, and Shilin is one of its largest. Taipei 101 Observatory: It stands as the tallest skyscraper in Taiwan and the 11th tallest in the world. It is also the tallest and largest eco-friendly building in the world and was awarded the Platinum certificate rating under the LEED certification system for energy efficiency and environmental design. Guests can be transported, via speed-breaking elevators, from the 5th to 89th floor Observation Deck in 37 seconds. Here they can relax, take in the views, or document a few iconic photos from Taipei’s tallest vantage point.

National Palace Museum: This museum contains a large permanent collection of Chinese art and artifacts, spanning 8,000 years of Chinese history.
